We are a HHA do you perform OasisYes, Our platform is ready for your Start of Care, Resumption of Care, Recertification of Care, and Discharge with Oasis requests.

We are a HHA will you sign a BAAYes, Biomechanics has created a BAA that we use for all of our clients. It is up to date as recommended by CMS. Once a contract is signed we will share with you an executed Business Associate Agreement. Additionally all Clinicians on the platform will execute a BAA as well.

I am a patient do you take insurance?Since we are a platform we do not provide direct patient care. However we work with 1000's of providers, outpatient clinics, and home health agencies. So we will take down your name, insurance information, address, diagnosis, and when you need therapy and we will connect you with a provider that can offer you services.

I am a patient how are you protecting my information and maintaining HIPAA Compliance?Biomechanics takes patient information security very important and is a HIPAA compliant staffing platform. All protected health information is encrypted at all times. We have Security and HIPAA policies in place and our security officer verifies compliance, provides training, and tracks all compliance monthly. My mom fell can you help her walk again?Absolutely. Many patients have had a fall, fracture, or injury and need the skilled services of a physical therapist, occupational therapist or a nurse. Falls are dangerous, but can be mitigated with proper medication management, vital sign monitoring, exercise, hydration, utilization of equipment like walkers, canes, home modifications like ramps, grab bars, show chairs, raised toilet seats, and specialized training to identify the source of the falls, and a plan to prevent them.

How many patients can I take on as a PT, OT, or ST?As a physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech therapist, nurse, social worker, or dietitian, you may take on as many patients as you like. You have total flexibility in your caseload, coverage locations, and schedule. Some of our therapists using our platform see just one patient a month, while others treat up to ten patients per day. It's completely up to you.

I am a PT OT ST How do I get home health patients?The Biomechanics platform receives requests from over 1000 clients who indicate the location of the patient needed to be seen, what discipline they need to see their patient, and when the patient needs to be evaluated. Ex: PT Eval, 90210, 7/4/25

I am a PT OT ST how far do I have to travel?The majority of the clinicians travel 4.5 miles surrounding their home a drive time of under 10 minutes. With that said, its up to you. If you are going stay in Malibu for the summer. Good for you, take patients there in between your walks on the sand. If you are skiing in Mammoth for the winter, let us know we will come up, but I'm sure there are a few patients that might need to rehab their knee after getting taken out by another skier. Going to Joshua Tree for the Fall, well watch out for the rattlesnakes and pick up THR rehab patient while you are there. Flexibility gives you options. ENJOY

I am a PT OT ST what equipment do I need?Most platform clinicians carry the following equipment. It will vary depending on your discipline, speciality, and skill set.
